Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J. K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the thrilling conclusion to J.K. Rowling's seven-book masterpiece of storytelling, the Harry Potter series. It was a long wait from the time I read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone until the seventh and last book in the series finally was released (seven years, believe it or not!), but this book was well worth the wait.
Harry and his best friends Ron and Hermione have decided not to return to Hogwarts for their seventh year of wizarding school. Instead, they will set out on a quest to find and destroy the Horcruxes, the keys to defeating the evil Lord Voldemort. Along the way, they will battle with dragons, Death Eaters, and magical foes, and discover the truth of the mystery of the Deathly Hallows. Will they succeed in defeating Lord Voldemort in the end? You'll have to read it to find out!
I really enjoy the Harry Potter series because of the plot - each book is so detailed, and all of the seven books are connected in ways you wouldn't expect. Ms. Rowling certainly planned ahead when she was writing each one! I also enjoy watching the characters grow up throughout the series - the author describes everything from school dances to magical tournaments very realistically. This book is full of action, humour, and touching moments, and yet it also contains some powerful messages about hope, love, and responsibility. In the end, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a very satisfying conclusion to a wonderful story.
